During the COVID-19 pandemic, the founders of Scholance recognized the difficulties students faced in fulfilling their community service requirements. Their search for virtual options to meet the mandatory minimum hours for graduation yielded no targeted online platforms for community service. Believing that community service should be easily accessible to students, even in the virtual world, they established Scholance to bridge this gap and provide students with an online platform that makes it easy and accessible to engage in community service.
